About us
Norwich Door to Door is a charity which provides a caring and personal door to door minibus service for disadvantaged people with mobility issues living in greater Norwich. Our aim is to relieve loneliness, break down barriers to social inclusion and improve health and well being.
Raising Funds for Fuel
Our assisted transport service makes a world of a difference to the people who use it. Most are elderly and disabled, all struggle to leave their homes without our help.
Norwich Door to Door has a fleet of 12 minibuses, and with 700+ passengers and 22 000 trips annually, you can imagine the cost of the fuel bill! We are raising funds towards this cost.
Most of the trips beneficiaries make are for medical appointments but we also take passengers to supermarkets for their weekly shop, to visit family and friends, attend social and lunch clubs, and to attend therapy sessions. These activities are essential for health and well-being and enable people in our Norwich community to remain independent, active and involved.
