We are seriously concerned that tensions in the region will escalate in the coming months and there will be further bloodshed without our help to bring the relevant parties together to talk. But community leaders will respond and come to the table because, after ten years of Concordis' work in Abyei, they know and trust us.
Last year, amazingly and despite the ongoing war in Sudan, Concordis’ peace conferences ensured that the cattle movement season passed off without serious incident.
