Rainbow Baby Day & Sponsored Empty Pram Push

Rainbow babies are those born after loss and or struggle.
With 55% of us affected by infertility, perinatal mental health and baby loss there are a LOT of rainbow babies among us. Many of us have them, many of us are them.
To mark rainbow baby day we will be doing our sponsored empty pram push with our empty prams and rainbow babies as suits. Prams will be pushed 5.5km from holywell to the langley water works to represent the 55% of people affected by infertility, perinatal mental health and baby loss. The empty prams represent all the babies so wanted that are not here with us . . .and the rainbow babies that we are lucky enough to have will be walking with us too.
Muma Nurture supports those affected by infertility, perinatal mental health and baby loss and is asking organisations and individuals to get involved and do something on Rainbow Baby Day (August 22nd) to raise awareness of rainbow babies, the support the charity provides at such difficult times and of course some much needed funds for their vital work.
You can join us for the walk either in person or remotely . . .or you can do something else entirely to mark the occassion.
How you do this is up to you? You could donate certain sales for the day, get some of our colour your own t-shirts, get people to dress in rainbow colours and donate or something totally different. Whatever you plan, please let us know all about it and we can share on our socials and website to help you help us. . .and be sure to set up your own individual page for this campaign so you can measure your specific contribution.

Muma Nurture

Muma Nurture provides specialist counselling for infertility, baby loss and perinatal mental health and as a very small charity every penny we can raise to help us to do this really helps, it means we are able to provide support to everyone whether or not they could afford to pay.
It is often said "having children is the easiest thing in the world", it really isn't 55% of people are affected by infertility, baby loss and perinatal mental health. Unfortunately, with so much secrecy and shame surrounding these issues they are often kept very quiet and it can be a struggle for people to get the support they need. This is why Muma Nurture and the community we are creating is so important, it gives that 55% a place to belong, feel normal and accepted.
