Raising for SPARC - Stockport Progress & Recovery Centre
Event date:
This Sunday SPARC supporters Jenni Bramwell and Nicola Mannarn are going to be taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money to support our charity.
After a challenging year, loss of funding and building, SPARC are continuing to support the people of Stockport who experience mental health problems.
Jenni and Nicola have already raised £400 but any contribution will help our Therapy Service, Young Adults Project and Community support not only to continue but to thrive and grow.

Stockport Progress and Recovery Centre (formerly Stockport Day Centre) is a local voluntary organisation originally founded in 1985 to provide support for adults in the Stockport area who suffer from mental health problems.
We offer a range of leisure, therapeutic, educational and social activities and facilities, developed in consultation with our members, in order to promote integration and mental and social well being.
The centre was set up as a registered charity in 1985. It employs 6 staff and a small team of volunters.
The centre is managed by a committee including members and other interested persons.
We are principally funded by The National Lottery and a partnership with Pure Innovations but a considerable amount is raised annually through other fundraising and events organised by the charity and its members.
