About us
PCDP UK works to relieve poverty among the Parkari people, one of the poorest and most marginalised communities in the world.
In the hindu caste system the Parkari people are regarded as outcastes, also called untouchables and Dalits. They are despised and oppressed.
PCDP UK provides a way to link hands directly with some of the world's poor, and help them to help themselves.
In cooperation with its partner organization, PCDP in Pakistan, PCDP UK promotes all aspects of community development especially literacy, human rights, health and skills training among the Parkari people.
Sindh Flood Relief
Floods in Pakistan have left many rural people in Sindh completely destitute, with the loss of stored grain, standing crops, livestock, possessions and homes.
PCDP UK is working directly with its partner charity PCDP, based in Sindh, to provide emergency aid to those worst affected. All donations will be used on the ground to provide food, shelter and other necessities to those in immediate need.
