Skydive - Graft Thames Valley

Thank you to everyone who is supporting this intrepid team raising funds to help us in our work.

We thought we would give you a little more information about our (Graft Thames Valley - charity no. 1119388) work.

We support people who experience barriers to enter mainstream employment. This may be due to a disadvantaged background, having disabilities and/or other complex needs.

We support our clients via tailored one-to-one support as well as training and other work-related activities. All completely free to our clients which is why initiatives like these are so important to us, so Thank You.

Below are some of the things we will be able to achieve with your kind donations:

£500 will allow us to create an online resource for parents who wish to support their sons and daughters through their journey to greater independence.

£1,000 will allow us to fund an information campaign with local businesses to inform them of the ease with which small and often inexpensive workplace adjustments can allow them to have a more diverse workforce.

£2,000 will allow us to run a short course for people who have been made redundant as a result of the pandemic.

£4,000 would allow us to fund outreach support in the most deprived communities of Reading, offering some basic IT and digital training.

£6,000 would fund up to 25 people with mental health needs and/or autism through our Survival Guide 1 and 2 programmes - providing over 185 hours of support and covering confidence building, effective communication skills, job searching and applications, teamwork experience, mock interviews and much more.
