About us

At St. Winifred's we place strong importance on the involvement of parents and carers in their child's education and in the life of the school. We believe that co-operation between home and school is the key to a child?s development.

Family and Friends of St.Winifred's is a charitable organisation ran by a group of parents/carers and teachers who work together on a voluntary basis to contribute to the life of the school through fundraising, and supporting school initiatives.

Our aim is to raise as much funds as possible to enhance the educational and social experiences of the children of St. Winifred's school and to have fun along the way.

HELP IMPROVE OUR PLAYGROUND!

Over the last few months we’ve been looking how we might develop and make the most out of the school’s playground, so that the children will benefit from areas where they can play safely, socialise and relax, resulting in them being inspired to achieve in the classroom.

Due to the limited space in the playground there isn't much grassy areas, the two areas we have are muddy and grassless. We'd like to resurface both areas and add additional features (such as benches, play structures, gazebo 'classroom' and sensory plants).

We have 324 square metres of BARE GRASSLESS AREAS to be resurfaced!
