About us
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through its expert advice, support and legal services.
It provides people in need with one-to-one, personalised help with all their housing issues. And as Shelter's free emergency helpline is open 365 days a year, it's often the first port of call for people facing a housing crisis.
In addition, Shelter undertakes ground-breaking research to understand more about the UK?s housing problem; developing policies that offer solutions. With the support of its campaigners, it calls on the government and others to tackle the causes and consequences of the housing crisis. And by work closely with the media, Shelter ensures that the voices of those affected by the housing crisis are always heard.
Shelter has been around for over fifty years, and will continue to fight until one day, every person has a safe, secure place to call home.
Strictly goes to the Movies Group Dance
Event dates: Saturday 25th November 2023 – Sunday 26th November 2023
Our group dancers will learn specially created choreography and perform to over 400 people at our Strictly goes to the Movies event.
With a minimum target of £150 each - please do support them if you can!
