Raising for Pussycat Lodge
We have been rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens from our current site in the Brentwood area for over 25 years, rehoming over 300 local cats every year and providing a safe haven for cats in desperate need of help.
After 25 years on the same site, we now have to move the PCL rescue centre by the end of 2025. That means finding, funding and moving the rescue to a new site over the next 18 months.
Without a rescue centre we won’t be able to continue our vital work and so we’re committed to finding a new site and continuing to save the lives of the hundreds of cats every year that need our help.
Whilst this is a big challenge it’s also an exciting change and gives us the opportunity to take PCL into the next chapter.
We will update the target as we move through the different steps.

🌟 AN AMAZING £740 RAISED! 🌟
We’re delighted to share that the cash raised at the fabulous Drag Bingo evening at Maggio Lounge has now been counted and banked—an incredible £740 for Pussycat Lodge! 🐱💚
A huge thank you to the team at Maggio Lounge, everyone involved in making the evening happen and, of course, all of you who came along, joined in and supported us.
It was a wonderfully entertaining night, and this fantastic total will make a real difference to the cats in our care while helping us move forward with our Next Chapter.

What a fantastic result from Celia’s Summer Fair — an amazing £1,230 raised for Pussycat Lodge’s Relocation Appeal. 🐾❤️
A huge thank you to Celia for organising everything, to everyone who helped with the stalls, games, face-painting, cakes, plants, raffle and refreshments, and of course to everyone who came along and supported the day.
Events like this take a lot of work behind the scenes, but every pound raised takes us another step closer to creating a secure new home for Pussycat Lodge and the cats who depend on us.

Celia raised another £235 last night from another of her world famous quizzes. Numbers were down, maybe the heat? Thank you to everyone involved though and all that helped raised that total.

Pussycat Lodge (PCL) was established over 25 years ago and has since been a focal point for a local group of hard working and dedicated volunteers. We rescue cats primarily across the Brentwood, Basildon, Castle Point, and Chelmsford Boroughs in South Essex.
