HAY IS TWINNED WITH TIMBUKTU It's in deep trouble and needs our support urgently.
Serious recent conflict between several heavily armed groups in the area has caused people who live in surrounding villages to abandon them and flee to the town.
Timbuktu itself has been virtually cut off by roadblocks so food is in desperately short supply, and many are in immediate need of food and essentials.
PLEASE GIVE WHATEVER YOU CAN ANY AMOUNT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The distribution of all funds will be administered /supervised by the Mayor of Timbuktu and distributed according to priority of need.
