Ultra Marathon from Liverpool to Leeds

Can you imagine running a marathon? Maybe you already have, we're sure it wasn't easy! Well, Pete and Lee are planning on running 5, back to back! Apparently it's actually a thing and it's called an Ultra Marathon! 130 miles over two days, with a 5 am start! We find an 5 am start for an open day hard enough, never mind then running 130 miles!
Pete and Lee are looking to challenge themselves and see just what limits their body's have. They have surpassed our limits simply by signing up to do this! We hope you will join us in supporting their efforts to push their bodies to the limit, whilst raising essential funds for us and Rossendale Responsible Animal Rescue. Summer is crazy for animal rescues, as the number of people wanting to surrender their animals often increases & it is the time nature chooses to welcome new life into the world. So increases, unfortunately the number of unwanted kittens, puppies, and chicks. Funding the care and rehabilitation of these vulnerable animals is incredibly difficult, especially in the current economic climate and so we are both so incredibly grateful when people like Pete and Lee, put in such effort to help raise funds for us.
