Vigilance of Brixham

Raising for Vigilance of Brixham

Vigilance is a 1926 Brixham Trawler, part of the National Historic Fleet. She is one of only seven left in the world, and one of the two still at Brixham. She was nearly lost to rot but her hull and deck have recently undergone a major restoration at Stirling & Son in Devonport. This was funded by NHMF and NLHF grants and generous donations from private individuals. She returns to Brixham in April 25 ready for another year of work to fit her out ready for sailing again in her centenary year. Over 100 volunteers are involved in her refit but funds are desperately short. At the time of writing she has no interior, rig or sails. She needs all new electrics and plumbing plus safety equipment. She wont be bale to earn her keep until she can sail again.

If you can donate anything it will help our team get her ready for her next 100 years and bring life changing experiences to many people including disadvantaged children.

We really appreciate your help. Thank you
