About us
Formed in 2014, Orangutan Veterinary Aid (ovaid) is a zero salary, voluntary run charity dedicated to providing veterinary equipment, medicines and practical veterinary presence and assistance to orangutan rescue groups and centres in indonesia and malaysia.
by its actions the charity works to improve resources for rescued orangutan and to improve welfare.
Walk 5K in May for Orangutan Veterinary Aid
Event dates: Wednesday 1st May – Friday 31st May
Summer is coming and the days are getting longer - venture outside, enjoy nature and raise money for Orangutan Veterinary Aid by setting yourself the challenge of walking 5k during May. Set your own target - it can be 5k during the month, or 5k or more each day.
OVAID's Co-Founders have set themselves the challenge of 5k each day during May! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🦧❤️ (A total of 155k or 96 miles each -that's the equivalent of walking from Launceston to Truro and back!)
