Go girrrrls! ❤️
Projects in Palestine is an charitable organisation based in Coventry, fundraising to help people in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Our ethos is to help enable the Palestinians to continue to live and work on their lands whilst helping them to self -sustain whether it be by planting trees and crops or assisting them to start small businesses. We are particularly interested in helping people out of poverty by focussing on funding women’s projects, projects for children and farming and planting.
Event dates: Saturday 10th September 2022 – Sunday 11th September 2022
Suzanne is fundraising to support women's business initiatives. Women face financial hardship if they are widowed or find themselves having to be the main breadwinner because their husband has been injured, especially if they have dependents and are tied to the home. Suzanne is hoping to raise £500 to put towards helping set women up in business. Previous projects we have funded include: commissioning the manufacture of a bread oven for a women's collective, providing moulds and equipment for soap making and providing sewing machines for dressmaking, alterations and repairs.
For our fundraising challenge this year, the Projects in Palestine team will be walking the Coventry Way - a 40 mile circular route around the city of Coventry. The challenge will take place over the weekend 10th and 11th September.
Please donate if you can and remember to tick the gift aid box. If you can share the campaign page, that would be great too. Every penny of every pound counts! Thank you :)

A massive thank you to everyone who donated, followed our trials and tribulations via the facebook updates over the two days and kept our legs going. It really did help!! I exceeded my target which is AMAZING ❤️. Obviously, we would be immensely grateful for any additional funds that come in - when you set a target, its just really plucking a figure out of the air that you hope you'll reach. With Projects in Palestine, 100% of everything we raise is set to work in Palestine, helping people to self sustain, protect their land, alleviate financial/home/educational insecurity and give hope. We are all volunteers and pay our own expenses when we visit the west bank to deliver project work. The challenge we took in this year was tough. Two of our team valiantly battled through the second day with horrific blisters, all of us had other joint issues going on through that final afternoon. We were all so happy to reach that finish line together as one team, it was a feat of determination to say the least. Here is that facebook video of us at the finishing line again if you missed it in the thread before 😊 fb.watch/fw2qdC7zxy/
🖤🤍💚❤️🥾🥾🥾🥾 Love to you all from the Projects in Palestine team x
