Walking the Coventry Way- pay for a teacher
Raising for Projects in Palestine

Rachel is fundraising to cover the fees of a teacher in a refugee camp kindergarten. The average monthly cost is £200 and our goal is to reach £500. The benefits of children accessing education from an early age is immeasurable and the learning through play as well as lessons will enhance their emotional well-being as well as educational attainment. Children in refugee camps attend school from age 6 and leave when they are 14. The kindergarten gives the children somewhere to go to play and learn from age 2 until they go to school.
Our challenge takes in a 40 mile circular route around the city of Coventry and we will be walking the weekend 10th and 11th September.

Projects in Palestine is an charitable organisation based in Coventry, fundraising to help people in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Our ethos is to help enable the Palestinians to continue to live and work on their lands whilst helping them to self -sustain whether it be by planting trees and crops or assisting them to start small businesses. We are particularly interested in helping people out of poverty by focussing on funding women’s projects, projects for children and farming and planting.
