Wish Upon a Star
Raising for NATIONAL ACTIVITY PROVIDERS ASSOCIATION
“Wish Upon a Star” invites care settings, activity providers, and community groups across the UK to create their own Wish Trees this Christmas.
Each tree will be decorated with handmade stars, each carrying a wish, a message, or a festive thought from residents, families, or staff. Participants will make a small donation (suggested £2–£5 per star) to add their star to the tree, raising funds to support NAPA’s mission of enhancing wellbeing through meaningful activity and engagement.
Every pound raised will go directly to NAPA, helping us continue to train, inspire, and equip care and activity teams nationwide. We will also include a friendly competitive element to make it even more engaging for participants.
Alongside recognising creativity and community spirit through our Shining Star Setting 2025 award, we’ll also celebrate the care setting that raises the most money for NAPA. That setting will be crowned Winner of NAPA’s Christmas Appeal 2025 and will receive a beautiful engraved award and will be featured on our website and in our eMagazine.
