Women's Hub Sponsored Walk

Event date: Thursday 24th October

The women in our Thursday Women's Hub group have been working hard with Transport for Greater Manchester to produce a beautiful map of their favorite local walking routes. Now they have decided to do a sponsored walk on 24th October along one of the routes along the canal, to raise money for DMNW funds. Please support them if you can and share this link with your friends.
What your donation can do
£25.00 will pay for a bilingual access support session, helping people whose first language is not English to make appointments, read letters and access services like Dr’s, housing, benefits.
£70.00 will enable 10 women to attend a physical activity session at our Women’s Hub, supporting health and wellbeing.
£150 will fund a Pre-entry ESOL course for local women so they can improve their speaking skills and confidence, opening doors to widen their future opportunities.
£250 will train a bilingual peer mentor volunteer to provide practical and emotional support to women in crisis.
