About us
Our mission is to eliminate human deaths from rabies and relieve the burden of rabies in other animal populations, especially dogs. Our approach is holistic and involves community empowerment, education, vaccination, access to treatment, and monitoring of results. We encourage governments to take action, align agencies to work together, and empower communities to protect themselves.
Worldwide Walkies Challenge
Event dates: Monday 16th August 2021 – Thursday 16th September 2021
Join us on our Worldwide Walkies challenge! We’re asking our supporters and their furry friends to walk a 3km a day for 30 days from 16th August in support of Global Alliance for Rabies Control.
Help us to raise £5000, each £3 you raise will support a vaccination for a dog and provide education on new materials.
In addition, you’ll be supporting our global goal of eliminating human deaths from dog rabies by 2030.
🐕🚶♀️ Grab those dog leads and get walking, tracking your progress through a fitness watch. If you have a Strava account, you can link this to your fundraising page and your supporters will be able to see your progress throughout the challenge.
