About us
Friends of the Animals started in 1990 with the primary goal of alleviating the suffering of sick, injured or simply unwanted animals.
With a subsidised spaying and neutering scheme, help with veterinary bills, a fostering and rehoming program, providing pet food for those struggling and supporting an animal sanctuary with over 500 residents we continue to do all we can to help animals and their human companions.
Zumbathon

Hello,
My name is Luis Rodrigues. I'm Brazilian and have been living in England since 2016. I am a Zumba instructor, and I am organizing a ZUMBATHON in support of Friends of the Animals. They helped me save the life of my dog Oreo, who was on the verge of passing away if we hadn't taken him to the best clinic. With expenses exceeding £10,000 I was desperate to decide whether to continue treatments without knowing if I could afford them or give up on him.
We chose to continue, hoping the universe would assist us. One of those helps came from Friends of the Animals, and that's why I am organizing and will annually host this event that will bring many people together for the sake of animal lives. They are little angels who teach us to love, especially dogs; they embody loyal and true love.
Our event will be in Addlestone on March 31st 2024 starting at 10:15am. You are invited to come, or if you can't be present and would like to donate, the animals will be grateful.
