Arnolfini, woven into the fabric of Bristol's cultural offer since 1961, is one of Britain's leading independent arts organisations. It's ambitious programme of dynamic contemporary arts and learning includes visual art, performance, dance, film and music, and a busy education programme of tours and talks. Drawing over 500,000 visitors annually, the centre provides an innovative, inclusive and engaging visitor experience for all.
Arnolfini provides Bristol and the West of England with a centre for the contemporary arts of international significance. Its presence spear headed the cultural regeneration of Bristol's derelict historic docks and continues to play an important role in Bristol's cultural landscape. Through its education programme, Arnolfini is nationally recognised as a vital part of the city's growing infrastructure, seeking to involve and inspire the widest possible range of people in its activities, allowing them to gain and relish from their experience of the arts. Arnolfini's location and flexible spaces mean it is well placed to be the leading contemporary arts venue in Bristol, complementing and working in partnership with other arts venues in the City.
