About us

CWB works in partnership with local delivery partners: cricket associations, foundations and sport for development organisations, so our work fits alongside and supports existing sports structures, growing the game and ensuring sustainability.

It is central to our work that local coaches are empowered to lead coaching sessions and identify local health or social issues that can be discussed throughout so that all sessions provide high quality coaching and a safe place for participants to discuss issues that impact their lives. A key part of CWB's work is running ICC Certified coach education sessions for existing and new coaches.

We bolster our partners’ delivery capacity by providing grant funding to employ CWB Ambassadors, who work to achieve CWB’s goals year-round. CWB volunteers support all aspects of CWB’s delivery and provide vital capacity at mass participation events to ensure that Cricket Without Boundaries’ activities are truly inclusive and “without boundaries”.

CWB is celebrating 20 years. Starting from coaching 3000 children in year 1, to 259,691 in 2024, the charity has grown its impact through the dedication of 530 UK volunteers and over 50 local ambassadors. Numbers don't always tell the best story in terms of impact and the success of the charity can be seen by members of national cricket team players having first experienced cricket from CWB sessions, coaching jobs being created and filled thanks to training delivered by CWB and countless smiles seen on the faces of children, teachers and parents through the simple act of batting, bowling and fielding. More recently partnerships have enabled CWB to expand further across the world, sharing the benefits of play in community development.

In this celebration year, CWB is looking to raise funding to secure its future to grow the impact delivered. This may look like expanding into new countries where cricket development can have a social impact, supporting communities to bring about change themselves and, of course, to bring a lot of fun to hundreds of thousands of children. This will be made possible by continuing our partnerships and through continuing our volunteer projects.

You can contribute by attending our gala dinner, making a donation or by volunteering on one of our trips. More details on all of these can be found on our website or by following our social media channels.
