About us
Max's Foundation was set up as a lasting legacy to 10 year old Max Schiller, who suddenly passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition, known as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, in Jan 2015.
In partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital, we fund two research positions, both of which play vital roles in research projects into the detection and treatment of genetic heart conditions in children.
Our aim is to help ensure that no other family will be broken by these conditions in the future.
Raise the Mic for Max

Looking for the perfect night out? Gather your friends and join us at The King of Prussia in Finchley, North London, for an evening of live music, delicious gourmet pizza, craft beers, and cocktails in a welcoming pub with a lively atmosphere.
If you’ve ever dreamed of performing with a live band, this could be your chance! At Raise the Mic for Max, you could take the to stage and belt out a tune, becoming a star for the night.
You'll be able to bid for your favourite song from our playlist on the night for a chance to perform it live with the band. There will be a limited number of slots up for grabs, so get ready to compete!
Audience members will have the chance to vote for their favourite performer, with the winner getting bragging rights... and a prize!
Your ticket includes entry and a gourmet pizza, with 100% of the profits from the event going to Max’s Foundation to fund life-saving research into inherited heart conditions in young children. Max's Foundation are aiming to have raised a total of £1,000,000 to celebrate their tenth year in 2026, and your generous contributions could help them get there.
