The Matt Gallagher Foundation Colour Run 2026 – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket and participating in The Matt Gallagher Foundation Colour Run, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Participation
Participants take part entirely at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate. If you have any concerns about your health or have a medical condition that may affect your ability to take part, you should seek medical advice before entering the event.
2. Children
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the event. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of any child they register.
3. Colour Powder
The event uses non-toxic, biodegradable coloured powder. Although it is considered safe for general use, it may cause irritation to individuals with asthma, respiratory conditions, allergies or sensitive skin. Participants are responsible for deciding whether participation is suitable for them.
The coloured powder may stain clothing, footwear and personal belongings. Participants accept this risk and are advised to wear suitable clothing.
4. Event Rules
Participants must follow all instructions given by event organisers, marshals, volunteers and first aid personnel. The Matt Gallagher Foundation reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, abusive or likely to endanger others.
5. Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. The Matt Gallagher Foundation accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought to the event, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6. Photography and Filming
Photographs and video recordings will be taken during the event. By participating, you consent to The Matt Gallagher Foundation using these images and recordings for promotional, fundraising and publicity purposes, including on its website, social media channels and printed materials.
7. Cancellation
If the event is cancelled, postponed or altered due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of The Matt Gallagher Foundation, including but not limited to severe weather, safety concerns or other unforeseen events, the Foundation reserves the right to reschedule the event or determine whether refunds are appropriate.
8. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety and that of others. Appropriate footwear should be worn, and participants should remain aware of uneven ground and other hazards associated with an outdoor event.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and participating in the event, you confirm that you understand the nature of the activity, accept the inherent risks associated with participation, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits The Matt Gallagher Foundation's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
