Day trip to Highland Folk Museum

Join us for a day at the Highland Folk Museum, near Kingussie.
Spend the day browsing the museum at your leisure, treat yourself to lunch in the small museum cafe or bring along a picnic lunch, before meeting at the Am Fasgadh collections store in the afternoon for an exclusive visit behind the scenes.
You will be welcomed at the store before spending an hour or so exploring the 15,000 objects housed over 2 floors. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and share information on artefacts but it will be a self guided tour.
The museum site covers a large area – one mile from end to end, with some uneven pathways – please ensure you come dressed for the weather and have suitable footwear.
