Jacobite evening at the Museum
Location: West Highland Museum, Cameron Square, Fort William, PH33 6AJ
Event date:
This event is being hosted by the West Highland Museum as part of the first ever Jacobite Festival! It is your chance to be part of this inaugural event, while helping to fundraise for the museum and the work we do.
We are lucky enough to be guardians of a large Jacobite collection, as well as having some extra objects still tucked away in the attic not on public view. This evening will be offering a unique chance to experience the museum collection, at it's best, as part of a small private group.
The evening will offer:
- Our Curator Manager on hand to chat and answer questions on the collection
- The opportunity to see some of the little known Jacobite objects from the attic
- A bespoke talk from Drambuie on their history and connection with the Jacobites
- A Drambuie tasting and toasting to accompany the talk
- A Scottish buffet supper to enjoy
- Plus local businesses offering ales for you to taste test on the night
This is a fundraising event for the museum and all proceeds will go to our Redevelopment Fund which the community will hear a lot more about over the coming months.
Please note: this event is for over 18's only!
