Toyota London Marathon 2026

Raising for Motor Neurone Disease Association

This year, three incredible Toyota GB runners are taking on the world‑famous London Marathon, pushing their limits to raise vital funds for the MND Association.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal and rapidly progressing condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In the UK, it impacts up to 5,000 adults at any given time, and unfortunately, there is no cure for this devastating disease.

Jack Spicer - "I’m taking on my first-ever marathon at the most iconic one of all, the London Marathon. I wasn’t a runner until completing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2024 for MNDA, but I’ve since caught the bug and can’t wait to tick a marathon off the bucket list. After losing my dad to motor neurone disease, this cause means a huge amount to me, and I’m hoping to raise as much as possible to help MNDA move us closer to a cure."

Sean Murphy - “I’m looking forward to what will be my 3rd marathon and this time I’m hoping to finally achieve a sub 4 time. The sub 4 has been quite elusive for me despite my years of running experience. I can’t think of any better way of achieving it than at the biggest event that is London marathon and all in the name of such a worthy cause like the MNDA association.”

Sophie Ogunbiyi - "I only started running 4 years ago after the birth of my 3rd daughter and although I run on a regular basis, this will be my first time running a full marathon. I am so excited about this opportunity and am determined to give this my best shot. My aim is to complete the course whilst having fun, to soak in the atmosphere, raise vital funds for MNDA and make my family proud, especially my 3 young daughters! I also want to demonstrate that age and motherhood should not be a barrier to running. If I can do this, so can you!"

Thank you for supporting Jack, Sean, and Sophie as they take on this unforgettable challenge. Together we can help create hope, drive progress and support the MND community!

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal and rapidly progressing condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In the UK, it impacts up to 5,000 adults at any given time, and unfortunately, there is no cure for this devastating disease.

After the exceptional success of 2024, where the Toyota UK entities came together to raise over £300,000 for MND Association, we have decided to continue that support in 2025. This year we aim to raise £100,000, which can only be achieved with the help of Toyota GB staff!

Throughout 2025 there will be many staff fundraisers, including the One Toyota Charity Cup, the Student Charity Challenge and the Walking Marathon!

Toyota GB is dedicated to raising crucial funds to help the MND Association advance research, enhance care, and offer support to people living with MND, as well as their families and carers.

We are proud to unite in this effort—every donation makes a difference in the fight for a cure and in supporting those affected by this disease.
