My story
So I'm doing 2 marathons in 3 weeks!!!
29th April: London Marathon.
I entered the ballot without ever thinking I'd get a place.... and here I am! You can't say no to a place, they are like Glasto tickets!
There is only one cause I would put myself through this for and thats do do my little bit to support BT Charity. We lost Clare 7 years ago now and we still miss her! Think I can put myself through this for her. Although think I might change my mind at mile 19!!
14th May: Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.
Of course I work for Leeds Hospitals Charity but there was no way I was going to miss taking part in this race. I have seen everything Rob & Lindsey have gone through coping with MND and still managed to raise the profile of this horrid disease! I have also worked with the doctors and nurses within the Trust and this new centre will revolutionise the support they can give to both patients and families affected by MND. Just wanted to do my little bit for this amazing man & this appeal.
Please give whatever you can, I am not expecting anything. With this crazy world we now live in I understand how tough it is but anything would be amazing!
