3 Dartmoor Tors

We are members and friends of Tavistock Methodist Church (TMC) and we are walking on Dartmoor to support 2 charities, Mind the Gap, Africa and House of Hope, working in Romania.
Mind the Gap is a charity working to provide a home to orphaned or abandoned children in Zimbabwe. The charity provides a ”forever home” to the children who come into it. It provides a home with the care of dedicated teams who try to provide as balanced a home experience as they can. They support their children with school work and help them to grow into responsible young people. They have recently opened their fourth home, housing 8-10 children so have some needs related to that: they need a new vehicle to get an increased number of children to school. Vehicles of the size they need are not cheap, even second hand! And they need to start raising funding towards their next new home.  House of Hope is part of the Fast Romania charity that supports the despised Roma minority. As well as helping with accommodation and other essentials, they support the children in their schooling and urgently need money for school uniforms. No uniforms means exclusion from school so these are essential.
All donations will go to the Mind the Gap page for administrative purposes but will be split equally between the 2 charities.
