Matthew Clarke is raising money for Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal
My story
I've always enjoyed cycling. In 2015 I got into it more and have found it to be a great stress buster from my work and daily life. This year after some persuasion I decided to cycle for Charity with some friends who have been taking part for years.
BICA is a Birmingham based amateur cycle group who raise money. Over the last 25 years they've helped smaller charities with donations and equipment - whatever is needed.
Fundraising can be fun too! All the participants, enjoy the camaraderie, challenge and even the pain! This summer I'm cycling with a group of 40 around the 32 counties of Ireland. Over 600 miles through some beautiful countryside .
All donations go direct to the charities as the cyclists cover all of their own costs.
