7441 Chepstow ADC 3 Peaks Challenge

The Asda Chepstow Depot team are first timers to the Three peaks challenge!

Y3Ps is a 24-mile trek over varying terrain, starting at Horton-in-Ribblesdale (Base Camp - Station Road BD24 OHH) trekking the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and finishing back where you set off. This is a tough challenge, and each peak provides different challenges on both
ascent and descent.
·         over 1600m of ascent
·         just over 24 miles in distance
Over the last couple of years, colleagues have completed the challenge in times ranging from just under 4 hours to just over 14 hours, clearly a challenge not to be under-estimated. The challenge is to raise money for the Asda Tickled Pink charity partners, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!.
