Our story
After completing 70km in 7 days back in 2022 for MND, the sad passing of Doddie Weir and Rob Burrow, and following the stories and bravery of Ed Slater and Marcus Stewart, amongst others, it was time for a new challenge and to rope in some friends! It was decided that we would attempt to cycle, row, ski and run 754km (incorporating the shirt numbers of Rob Burrow, Doddie Weir and Ed Slater) in our school gym before school, during lunchtime and after school. All alongside our usual school day, GCSEs and training. Luckily school were up for supporting our challenge and we decided to raise money for our four chosen charities - The MND Association, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, 4Ed - Gloucester Rugby Foundation and The Darby Rimmer Foundation. Inspired by these greats of sport, others who suffer with MND and the incredible families around them, challenging ourselves is the least we can do. We hope to raise lots of money to help find a cure for this disease. Thank you for reading!
