My story
As a last minute decision I have decided to run Leeds half marathon to raise money for Leeds North and West food bank!
Now more than ever Food-banks are essential to tackle poverty. Families and individuals facing financial issues still deserve to have access to nutritious and fresh food! Leeds North and West Food-bank supported approximately 18,000 people between April 2024 and March this year, with a shocking amount being children.
Food-banks are also a great way to reduce food waste, surplus food from shops and restaurants can be saved from landfill by donating them to charities like this. Donations will help local people avoid hunger and access essentials, which in turn helps them live better lives
