Rwandan Schools Village Project

RSVP is a Scottish charity that provides school meals and sponsorship of children through secondary education in Rwanda. I costs 40p a day to provide a meal for a primary school child and 9p to provide a simpler cup of porridge. It costs £15 per month to sponsor a child through high school. Our money goes a very long way in Rwanda! The RSVP philosophy is that supporting education is the best way to achieving reduction in the need for aid in the future. I am running the Aberdeen Half Marathon on Sunday 27th August. I generally don't ask for sponsorship for this type of thing. I am making an exception this time as I believe this small charity is seriously worthwhile and I have friends who have made real sacrifices to support the work that it does.
