Adrian and Andy take on TWO Mighty Hikes

On 27th June Adrian and Andy took part in the full Yorkshire Dales Macmillan Mighty Hike marathon. An early start to beat the hot weather. The event was fantastically managed as usual by all the Macmillan volunteers and Adrian and Andy are looking forward to their next one, the Northumberland Coast Hike on 5th September. This promises to offer some beautiful scenery and the hike is described as “flat with easy terrain”, there was some challenging hills and terrain in the Dales.

Only a couple of weeks to go until the first of our two walks. We won't lie, the training is a bit behind but we will pull on the memory of completing the Cotswold Mighty Hike last year. Looking forward to sharing the day with other hikers in 'God's own Country'.
Andy was up early on Sunday for eighteen and half miles along the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal and spotted this little family out for an early morning dip.
