Alice Byrne's skydive for beat & the rainbow trust

Event date: 12th August 2017

My story

Hello all,
So I've been wanting to do a skydive for a few years now, as my friends know I'm a total wimp for even going to Thorpe park! My facial expressions say it all.. I won't even jump of a wall at a few feet! so I'm totally bonkers doing a tandem skydive at over 10,000ft! WHAT A HELL OF A DROP.

Well I'm going to jump for the eating disorder charity beat a charity which is very close to heart. For a fair few years I've been struggling with anorexia and bulimia, back 2015 on several occasions I had nearly lost my life, in August 2015 I had got so poorly I had gone into the stages of respiratory and renal failure.
For myself My eating disorder could have had been prevented from spiralling out of control if there was more knowledge Something this charity is working on.

Beat are a UK charity who support anyone suffering with eating disorders or the family and friends of those with eating disorders.
There aim is to:

To change the way everyone thinks and talks about eating disorder

To improve the way services and treatment are provided

And to help anyone believe that their eating disorder can be overcome

Beat provide lots of information, encourage research into eating disorders, challenge stereotypes, increase knowledge and run campaigns for better services and treatment. They run message boards, online support groups, peer support groups and various projects around the UK to raise as much awareness as possible. They're incredibly good at what they do, helping thousands of females and males young and old to overcome there eating disorders.

As well as for the above mentioned I'm also fundraising for a very special friend Erika, that had been battling with a heart and lung disease called pulmonary hypertension and sadly passed away last September at 18 years of age.
Anyone that knew Erika knew she was the most caring and warm hearted angel, who was always thinking of others. Which is why I want to donate to the rainbow trust that had helped her and also meant a lot to Erika.

If you have gave this a read thank you-
Please share this page around and donate as little or as much as you would like.
