Yoga Challenge: 108 sun salutations for Special Yoga Centre

At the London Yoga Show on Sunday November 2nd, 500 people will be coming together to perform 108 sun salutations within two hours.

For those of you who've never done yoga before, let alone a sun salutation, let me explain that it involves a sequence of yoga postures: from standing to lying on the floor and back to standing. This is done once for the left and another time for the right side of the body in order to complete a single sun salutation which will then be repeated 108 times within two hours! (the picture shows the postures for half a sun salutation, just to give you an idea of what it entails.)

I am undergoing this challenge to raise funds for The Special Yoga Centre in London (specialyoga.org.uk).

These guys are phenomenal. I have trained to teach children and special needs with them and can assure you that the work they do improves the quality of life of many many people.
