My story
As for us all, Covid-19 has been a major disrupter to the lives and plans of the young Londoners we support. The milestones they were approaching have now been removed and many of the opportunities for summer work experiences will no longer be possible. We hear from them how overwhelmed they feel about the uncertainty that surrounds them and the impact that these unforeseen challenges are having on them and their communities. At Behind Every Kick, we are committed to supporting our young people in dealing with a curve ball and we are re adapting our programme to make this happen, as well as ensure we are a point of connection for our young people.
