Jack's running the Rome Marathon for Being Children

Hi everyone!

On April 2nd I ran the Rome Marathon for Being Children, a children's charity in Goa, India. The charity is helping to change the lives of many children and their families living in the streets and slums of Goa.

We started up back in 2013, with a view to help educate and support children in various slums in Goa. Hundreds of children are living without support, healthcare and education each year. Being Children is looking to change this and have made a real difference to the lives of around 25 children so far.

Our main goal is to provide the children with a basic education via a pre-school to help influence them to go to school and have a better chance at a more fulfilling life. Here is what we essentially provide for the children...

• Pre-school education and enrolment into schools

• Healthcare

• Nutrition

• Social Welfare

By donating towards my charity run, you can help us to develop as a charity and eventually expand to other slums within Goa. Here is exactly what your donation will go towards.

• School essentials (books, bags, stationery, uniforms, footwear).

• Nutritious food, water and/or milk

• First aid kits and medical supplies

• Basic necessities for the children we enrol into boarding schools

• Conducting workshops to spread awareness on issues such as child abuse and education.

Any donation from you will make a substantial difference to the lives of many children and their families.
