Beryl's 100 for 100

18th September 2021 would be Beryl's 100th birthday, so we've decided that we want to celebrate this very special milestone by raising money for the cause that was dearest to her heart.
In 1968, Beryl started the Stratford Group in 1968 for children and adults. This was the 50th Group for disabled riding in the UK that then went on to form Riding for the Disabled in 1969. She continued her involvement for over 32 years, including her role as physiotherapist to 70 regional groups, and made many great friends along the way. In 2004, Beryl was absolutely delighted to be awarded an MBE in recognition of her commitment and love for RDA.
We are calling it ‘Beryl's 100 for 100’, and our idea is for anyone to do anything in 100's from March until her birthday in September, however big or small (restrictions allowing of course!). It could be anything from walking, climbing mountains or wild swimming, to jumping in a hundred puddles and baking a hundred cakes! This is our way of celebrating what a wonderful person Beryl was and raising money for Stratford upon Avon RDA.
