Beth’s London landmarks half marathon fundraiser

On April 12th, I’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon — 13.1 miles through the heart of London — in support of the Daniel Estick Trust.

If you know me, you’ll know I’m definitely not a natural runner! But after recently having a baby, I wanted to set myself a challenge that would really push me — both physically and mentally. Training for a half marathon postpartum hasn’t been easy.

I’m running in support of the Daniel Estick Trust, a charity set up in memory of Daniel, who sadly passed away at a very young age. The trust provides beautiful, hand-made memory boxes to bereaved families who have lost a baby or young child. These boxes give families a special place to keep precious memories — something tangible to hold onto during the most heartbreaking time imaginable.
The thought of what these families go through is unimaginable, and if I can help raise even a small amount to support them, every mile will be worth it.
