BF Adventure - Pittys London Marathon Challenge 2018

So out of the 386 050 people that applied for the London Marathon in 2018 some how my application that usually ends with a free fleece as a consolation prize turns out to be a congratulations letter!!! Once the shock subsided the sheer horror dawned in the realisation I have 26 weeks of training pain to go with the 26 miles on April 22nd!!!

As soon as I got my place their has only ever been 1 charity in my mind that I wanted to contribute to and that is BF Adventure near Penryn. They do great stuff in the community and have fantastic staff and volunteers who help a tremendous amount of people and I have had the opportunity through work in the RN to help out over there a couple of times and have always been impressed with what I saw. Because I got into the marathon on ballot I don?t have to raise money if I didn?t want to however if I?m going to subject my 42 year old self to the agony, pain & suffering I might as well make it worthwhile for a great charity who run a range of supportive programmes for young people.
So that?s the official stuff out the way if you can help that will be great 👍 if not if you see a slightly large bloke running in the camborne / Redruth area with a blue baseball cap round the wrong way because he hasn?t quite grown up yet give him a toot on the horn and a little wave in support which will go a long way (particularly sundays as that?s the nightmare mileage day)
