BICA 2026 Cycle- Mizen Head to Malin Head

| This year, I’m setting out once again on a journey that’s become far more than just a ride.  600 miles. Countless hours in the saddle. Early mornings, tired legs, and moments where pushing on feels impossible.  But this will be my second time taking on this challenge with the group, and I already know something important:  It’s not really about the miles. It’s about why we ride.  Every hill climbed, every mile completed, and every drop of sweat is dedicated to causes that truly change lives. This year, we’re riding in support of: - Maeve Fanning - Reynolds Cross Special School - UHCW - Birmingham Children’s Hospital – Cystic Fibrosis Unit - Birmingham Enterprise Sailing Trust - Cancer Fund for Children Ireland  Behind each of these names are real people, real families, and real stories—stories of resilience, hope, and strength in the face of life’s toughest challenges.  On the road, when my legs begin to fade, I’ll be thinking about children fighting illnesses with incredible courage, families relying on vital care and support, and young people being given opportunities and a brighter future.  That’s what keeps the wheels turning.  Last time I completed this ride, I saw firsthand how powerful a community can be when people come together for something bigger than themselves.
