BICA 2026 - Mizen Head to Malin Head

Hi all,

In July, I’ll be joining the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal as we complete the Wild Atlantic Way ride from Mizen Head to Malin Head. The trip, totaling over 909Km, will take us along Ireland’s West Coast. While this will be a big challenge, it's for some great causes.

Charities this year include:

• Maeve Fanning
• Reynalds Cross Special School
• UHCW
• Birmingham Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Unit
• Birmingham Enterprise Sailing Trust
• Cancer Fund for Children Ireland

While all these charities are worthy causes, I have a personal connection with Reynalds Cross. My son Dylan started at Reynalds in September 2023 and since then has greatly benefited from this amazing provision. The money raised will go towards specialist equipment including a much needed sensory room for children with significant needs.

Any donations would greatly help these amazing charities to continue the fantastic work that they do in making our communities happier and healthier!
