Event dates: 25th October 2024 – 25th November 2024

My story

As a lot of people may know, my twin brother Jack is a sufferer of Narcolepsy as well as Cataplexy, it’s something he’s struggled with his whole life, which in turn has resulted in my family and I having a great understanding of it and we have dealt with many obstacles in helping Jack. To this day, very little is known about Narcolepsy and with your donations we could raise money to fund ways in which to change this. I will be walking 100 miles over the span of a month, starting on Oct 25th and ending on November 25th. I plan to raise a pound for every mile I walk, although I hope to do more. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that affects the brain's ability to regulate sleep and wake cycles. In 10% of Narcolepsy diagnoses Cataplexy is a symptom. Cataplexy is a sudden and transient episode of muscle weakness accompanied by full conscious awareness, typically triggered by emotions such as laughing, crying, or terror.
