Education fundraising by Nitima Shrestha Priya

Every year Byoma Kusuma Buddhadharma Sangha gives away bursaries to candidates under Sridhar Rana Rinpoche Education Fund (SRREF) to support them in their further studies.
In 2017 we supported two scholarship candidates for undergraduate course to become a doctor in traditional Himalayan medicine at Sowa Rigpa International College, Kathmandu, Nepal.

This year one of our potential candidates is Nalina Shrestha who wants to pursue a three year Nursing programme. Her grandmother had been supporting her but sadly passed away few months ago after suffering from a serious hip injury.

Our sangha member - Nitima Shrestha Priya would like to raise fund to support Nalina Shrestha. We would like to thank Nitima Shrestha Priya for taking the initiation and we hope you will be supporting her in this generous cause.

Message from Nitima Shrestha Priya,

"Dear friends,

We are approaching beautiful time of the year where we begin to see the subtle signs of nature just about to come up and my birthday also happens to be around this time of the year. Yep I'm getting a year older and hopefully a year wiser :P

I've been very blessed with everything I could possibly have asked for and more. Brilliant education, roof over my head, food on my plate and overall support from friends and family that I treasure very much. Last year on my birthday I took my family and best friend to monastery to practice forgiveness for anything that I may had done to them over my life span. Of course we all ended up with lots of tears of joy. It was beautiful day with love, laughter, gratitude. I don't want to cry this year so this year I would like to dedicate my birthday to a beautiful Nalina Shrestha who wants to pursue a three year Nursing programme. Her grandmother had been supporting her to date but sadly passed away few months ago after suffering from a serious hip injury. I am raising fund to support her further education so she can flourish to help many more. I would also invite you to be the cause for her great future where she will be helping many people in need as a nurse.

Who would have thought one seed of tomato have potential to grow uncountable tomatoes. It really doesn't matter what you give, £1, £3 or £100 what matters is your intention. Please help me to support her financially otherwise please send us your blessings. Both are great way to practice generosity.
