Blue Dragon sponsored Kickathon

Blue Dragon Taekwondo have decided to bring back the sponsored Kickathon for 2023. This year we have decided to raise money for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund - specifically the neonatal unit.

For those that don't know, in 2022 myself (Lyndsay) and my husband (Connor) welcomed our baby boy, Leo, in to the world. Unfortunately, Leo was born very poorly and at 2 hours old was taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to be looked after as he couldn't breathe on his own. He spent 11 days under the care of the wonderful staff from the Neonatal Unit, who not only looked after Leo but myself and Connor when everything wasn't looking too great.

Without a shadow of a doubt, without the care provided by the team in the Neonatal Unit, our little boy wouldn't be here with us today. After all the hard work they did to look after Leo, we have found it hard to say thank you in a way that will truly show how grateful we are. So we decided to bring back the Kickathon for 2023 and invite as many clubs as we can to join us in raising as much money as possible!

The money raised will go to the Neonatal Unit and will provide support to parents like ourselves and help purchase new equipment to help babies and parents.
