Boost Cycle Ride 2023 are raising money for Boost Charitable Trust
Our story
Boost’s Second Annual Sponsored Cycle Ride will take place on Friday, 22 September 2023.
This will be a 100km (62 miles) cycle ride looping around Winchester with spectacular views of the South Downs, Meon Valley and Itchen Valley. Although it will be in beautiful countryside, the ride will be challenging with two tough climbs at Old Winchester Hill and Beacon Hill which will be a real test for the cyclists!
The ride will be raising funds for Boost Charitable Trust. Boost is a grant-giving sports charity and was set up in 2005. Its mission is to fund inspiring projects which help to improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled through the power of sport. Since inception, Boost has granted awards amounting to over £2.4 million and been involved with 70 different types of sport. The focus is on helping people in five main areas: physical and learning disabilities, financial hardship, mental health, social exclusion, and medical research and relief.
Your support will enable Boost to fund even more sports projects which have a real impact on people’s lives.
