Boost Cycle Ride 2024

Boost's Third Annual Sponsored Cycle Ride will take place on Friday, 13 September 2024.

This will be a 100km (62 miles) cycle ride looping around Winchester with spectacular views of the South Downs, Meon Valley and Itchen Valley. Although it will be in beautiful countryside, the ride will be challenging with two tough climbs at Old Winchester Hill and Beacon Hill which will be a real test for the cyclists!

The ride will be raising funds for Boost Charitable Trust.  Boost is a grant-giving sports charity whose mission is to fund and support inspiring programmes which help to improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled through the power of sport.  The focus is on helping people in five main areas: physical and learning disabilities, financial hardship,  mental health, social exclusion and medical research and relief. Current programmes include a boxing programme for disadvantaged young people in the West Midlands, a walking rugby programme for people with Parkinson’s in Leeds and a tennis programme for disabled or disadvantaged children and adults in Hertfordshire.

Your support will enable Boost to fund even more sports programmes which have a real impact on people’s lives.
