Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary

Animal Welfare is a subject that is very close to my heart and anyone that knows me knows I adore animals and can't stand to see them suffer or be abused. Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary are a registered charity who have an animal shelter just outside Ballinamallard in Co Fermanagh. They operate a 'NO KILL' policy with no healthy animal every being destroyed. They depend solely on public support to finance their work. Bright Eyes do a fantastic job rescuing unwanted and abandoned animals and these animals stay in the care of the sanctuary until they can be adopted into caring and responsible homes. I am running the Belfast 1/2 marathon on 20th September and felt that I wanted to raise money for a local charity as I believe that they can very simply be overlooked and I know that without their excellent work many animals would have to be put down. I have NEVER undertaken a 1/2 marathon before so this is a big challenge for me. I would ask that you kindly DONATE what you can, no matter how small the amount, it ALL adds up.
