Our story
BYK Additives charity of the year 2025 is Halton Cancer Support following nominations of employees who have greatly benefited from using their services and support.
The Centre offer a wide range of long-term support to Widnes & Runcorn residents who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis, including their families. With them being local they offer a very personal touch, there are no hoops to jump through for appointments or gain support. The Centre has supported us and our families through our diagnosis, it has been a great relief knowing our loved ones have somewhere to go for support and advice.
Services offered are: peer support groups, counselling, support for children and young people, holistic therapies, respite breaks and much more.
